I’m so grateful and hopeful. I’m proud of myself for the fact that even in the most stressful times, I’ve never stopped working on myself.
Life back home felt like an enormous burden filled with problematic thoughts and issues that weren’t actually a problem at all.
When I was in my twenties, I lived the “responsible life” – I worked hard to succeed in my career, made enough money to get a mortgage and bought a place in my late 20s. It was great. Then one day in my 30s, I looked around and thought, “that’s it?”
Travel makes you feel untethered; like you can come and go and know that these experiences are unveiling some new bit about yourself you didn’t know you had.
